Nineteen-year-old Nathaniel Osman has been grabbed by the Adabraka District Police Command for stealing a laptop from a reputable bank.
Osman committed the act when he went to the bank to seek employment.
Nathaniel Osman, a businessman residing at Dansoman, was said to have been invited for an interview session by the bank around 7am but ended up stealing a brand new Toshiba laptop belonging to the bank.
He was however spotted and handed over to the police.
Confirming the story, Superintendent Cephas Coffie, District Commander of Adabraka police, indicated that Nathaniel Osman was at the bank Wednesday morning around 7am to attend an interview.
He noted that while waiting for his turn to be interviewed, suspect Nathaniel quickly picked one of the laptops of the bank and hid it in his bag and bolted.
"The security man on duty who spotted him quickly arrested him by the gate, as he was handed over to the police."
He noted that a search in Osman's bag revealed the laptop computer that he stole.
Supt. Coffie cautioned corporate institutions to be wary of persons they invited for interviews and those who go there to transact business.
