Nana Kofi Yirenkyi aka “Jesus One Touch,” founder and General Overseer of the Jesus Blood Prophetic Ministry at Oblogo in Accra has been convicted of incest and rape and sentenced to 10 years on each count to run concurrently.
Joy News' Paa Kwesi Asare who was in court said the verdict sent church and family members wailing at the court premises and as security officials whisked him away to begin his jail term at the Nsawam Prison.
Jesus One Touch had been standing trial for defiling his 10-year-old daughter.
He vehemently denied the charges.
Justice Georgina Mensa Datsa sitting at Circuit Court 5 in Accra however said she was persuaded his guilt had been established beyond all reasonable doubt.
His lawyers served notice they would appeal the verdict and sentence.
