She was not just a proud mom of two loving sons but a strong individual in her own right.“The qualities that endeared Hon. Theresa Tagoe to so many people were what made her special to us as women’s caucus,” one of the MPs said on the floor of Parliament on Friday.“Madam, it is with a heavy heart that I say these words for a lady who has made her own contributions to the welfare of this state and may the good Lord accept her graciously to the land of the righteous,” another said.Parliament will close early on Friday, to afford the generality of MPs the opportunity to see the remains of their colleague for the last time before she is buried.Story by Nathan Gadugah/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
