A murder suspect and small scale miner (Galamsey operator), Kwaku Viloba alias Red Dagarti, 24, has pleaded with the Tarkwa Circuit Court to release him to go and bury his dead father.
The suspect who made his second appearance before the court, pleaded for leniency to enable him go and bury his father who died during the Christmas holidays.
Police Inspector Edward Paddy told the court that the accused at around 1730 hours on May 15, 2009 hit the head of the deceased, Ollontue on suspicion that he was trying to woo his wife.
Mr Samuel Obeng-Diawuo, presiding over the court told the accused that he could not grant him bail because he was facing a murder trial.
