A timely intervention by relatives saved a nine-year-old girl who attempted suicide by hanging herself in Bortianor in Accra.She was found hanging on a coconut tree near her home.The girl was reported to have complained that she was not happy living with a relative, and has been calling on the mother to relocate her.According to an eyewitness, Solomon Tetteh, she hanged on the tree almost lifeless when rescuers arrived.She is however recuperating at a hospital in Accra.Story by Joy News/Ghana
