The Pharaohs coach have announced the arrival of 11 foreign based players ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations
Egypt have summoned 11 overseas players to join camp ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to hold in Gabon.
Coach Hector Cuper's list includes renowned names like AS Roma's Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Elneny of Arsenal and Stoke City's Ramadan Sobhi.
Barnsley midfielder Sam Morsy and Nacional’s Aly Ghazal were, however, overlooked.
The most successful team in the history of the Afcon with seven titles, Egypt will play in Group D, alongside Ghana, Uganda and Mali.
The Pharaohs will open their campaign against the Eagles on January 17 before facing the Cranes and the Black Stars on January 21 and 25 respectively.
The tournament runs between January 14 and February 5.
