The Black Queens' hopes of a debut Olympic place failed to materialise as Ethiopia managed to edge out Ghana, courtesy the away goal rule.Despite winning 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at the El-Wak Stadium to tie on aggregate 2-2, Ethiopia advance on the away goal rule having won the first leg 1-0 a fortnight ago.The Black Queens appeared on the verge of progressing in the qualifiers when Faisa Ibrahim’s header opened the scoring in the first half.Leticia Zikpi doubled Ghana's lead after the break but the 2012 Olympic Games dream went out of the window when Ethiopia’s Regina Zege got the consolation goal, that made the difference.Africa has two qualifying places at the 2012 London Olympic Games.Source: Ghanafa.org
