Kotoko have completed the signing of experienced defensive midfielder, Seth Opare from Aduana Stars. Seth Opare, joins the Porcupines a three-year contract, having successfully passed his medicals earlier on Wednesday in Kumasi.
Opare put pen to paper in the presence of his Manager, Mathew Addo and Kotoko’s Administrative Manager, Rose Padmore Yeboah. Speaking in an interview with Asantekotokosc.com, the player expressed his joy with the new life he’s to start at Kotoko.
He also pledged to do his best. “Kotoko is every player's dream” he said. “I’m happy to be here. I’ve just come but I know that, the supporters expect a lot from me. I will do my best to help the team win trophies this season and the seasons to come”.
Seth Opare has been with Aduana Stars for five years. He’s grown to become not just an excellent player but one of Ghana's most established defensive midfielders. His presence at Kotoko is expected to give the technical team good options in the middle.
