Roger Federer made it into the semi-finals of the Australian Open with a dominant 6-1 7-5 6-2 win over Mischa Zverev.
Federer, 35, is the oldest man to make it into the last four in Melbourne since Arthur Ashe in 1978 and will now face compatriot Stan Wawrinka.
Zverez shocked number one seed Andy Murray to reach the quarter-final but the serve-and-volleyer had no answer to Federer's class.
The number 17th seed is in his 41st Grand Slam semi-final and his 13th in Australia.
Federer threatened to inflict a bagel on Zverev in the first set before the German managed to get a solitary game under his belt late in the set.
Zverev broke Federer in the second but the Swiss responded magnificently to claw back control, and the third set was a virtual procession for the oldest man in the draw, who is now two games away from his 18th Grand Slam title.
