Andre Ayew wants West Ham United to please fans by beating Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Ayew has turned his attention to Monday's London derby, after scoring against Watford to rescue a point for the Hammers last weekend.
The Black Stars deputy captain scored the all-important equaliser with the game destined to end in favour of Watford, shortly after coming on as a second-half substitute.
The Ghanaian suffered a thigh injury on his West Ham debut against Chelsea in August last year. But his first goal in the Premiership was against the Blues at the Stamford Bridge and would relish scoring against them again
"Hopefully everyone will be fit for Chelsea and we can give the supporters some joy," Ayew said, as reported by the Mirror.
“For me, it was important to score – it was my first game back after the African Cup of Nations, I will continue to work hard and hopefully I will score more goals to help the team.
“I am not far away from 100 per cent – I played every game for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations and showed I could cope with the pressure.
“It has been frustrating but sometimes football is a game where you have to be patient and keep believing in yourself."
Ayew has netted twice in 13 Premier League games since completing a move from Swansea City last summer.
West Ham sit ninth on the table ahead of Monday's fixture.
