Nigeria’s Super 7 defeated Multichioce Ghana 3-1 on Saturday to win the 2017 Standard Chartered trophy tournament at the Lizzy Sports Complex.
The West African regional event saw Multichioce Ghana, Super 7 Nigeria and Guinness Cameroun competing for the sole ticket to represent the sub region in London in May.
The Nigerians recorded wins over Cameroun and Ghana to book a place at the final tournament in Anfield.

Liverpool Legend Jason McAteer joined the regional event in Ghana and provided tips to the finalists and hosted a soccer clinic for children and engaged clients.

The Super 7 team will receive a professional training session with LFC legends and coaches to help them prepare for the Final tournament including an all expensive paid trip to the UK.
Speaking after the event, Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing at Standard Chartered, Akosua Asiedua Addae said “we are pleased with the successful organization of this year’s event and we are hoping that they bring the cup because last year Kenya won and its time for West Africa to also win it”
“ Unfortunately as a Ghanaian we would have loved to team Multichioce Ghana who represented us but all the same we wish team Nigeria ‘’
“We believe that team Nigeria will make us proud when they square it off with seven other markets in the global event in London “she added.
