The Institute of Human Resources Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP) has organized a two-day workshop on Training Facilitation for Training Instructors at the Prison Officers Training School in Accra on Tuesday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 4, 2017.
The programme was aimed at improving the designing and delivering of training by Training Instructors of Ghana Prison Service.
In his opening remarks, the Director of HR, Ghana Prison Service, Mr. K.K. Kpeli said, training does enhance the performance of employees.
"It is a continuous process by which employee actually gets the knowledge and get to know how he or she can perform well in the organisation,” he said.
He further urged the participants to take full advantage of the 2-day training session to learn as much as they could to further build their capacity for better performance in the training of officers who pass through their hands.
Mr. Leonard Quarcoopome, a seasoned HR professional, served as the Resource Person from IHRMPwho facilitated the workshop.Mr. Leonard Quarcoopome also serves as an executive member of the National Governing Council of IHRMP.
