In response to the growing health and hygiene trends in the country, Unilever Ghana Limited has launched two new variants of Geisha soap under the name Geisha Germinguard.The two variants neem and soothing basil- mint and green tea is the 5th and 6th additions to the Geisha family.Geisha Gemiguard contains active ingredients which protect the skin from harmful effects of germs and leaves it soft, smooth and fresh.Speaking at the launch, the Minister of Trade and Industry Hannah Tetteh commended Unilever for introducing such products to combat the harmful effects of germs especially in our country where pollution is on the ascendancy.She was also happy that Unilever Ghana Limited has been able to live up to their mission of making sure people look good and feel good through their products.Hannah Tetteh urged Ghanaians to patronize the Geisha Gemiguard products for a lasting solution to their battle with germs which causes diseases.Unilever Ghana Limited has donated Geisha Gemiguard products to the Teshie Orphanage in Accra and the Anfaana Children's Home in the Northern region as part of their social responsibility to the society within which they operate.They also presented plaques to Madam Fati Issaka, founder of the Anfaana Childrens Home and Madam Janet Parker of the Teshie Orphanage for their heroic acts in the society and providing shelter for the homeless.Present at the launch were the officials from Unilever Ghana Limited, Trade and Industry Minister Hannah Tetteh, Deputy Minister of Women and Children’s Affairs, Hawawa Boya Gariba and some celebrities.
