With a few days to go, Melon Concepts, organisers of Selewa Market are putting the finishing touches to the next Afrocentric market scheduled for Sunday, July 2 at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra.
According to the Head of Marketing and Events at Melon Concepts, Akua Anim, ‘The number of vendors interested in leveraging on the Republic Holiday Market to drive sales and generate leads for their businesses has been so high.”

She said they had to create an extra floor space to accommodate a few more vendors than originally planned.
According to the Food and Beverage Manager, Golden Tulip Accra Hotel, Marshall Otu, they “are excited to be associated with the Selewa brand and the calibre of people the market attracts.

“As an African-styled hotel, we are always looking for activities that sit with our brand positioning and offer variety to our distinguished patrons.’
The Republic Holiday Market will have over 40 hand-picked vendors from Ghana and across the West African sub-region stocking authentic African and urban wear, hand-made beads, footwear, bags, natural skin and hair products.

There will also be an exhibition of African artwork and craft plus so much more at highly discounted prices.
The market will also pave way for attendees to engage with representatives from well-renowned companies such as Ecobank, Appolonia and Prudential Life Insurance.

The Finest Productions, promoters of the Omama fashion brand, will also be in attendance to add style and glamour to the event with a classy fashion show using gorgeous Ghanaian models to showcase the latest collection of Omama by Nayak Afrik.
It’s the perfect occasion to shop and socialise while treating yourself to exquisite cuisine and drinks from the Golden Tulip Accra. Admission is free.
