There was drama at the central business district of Takoradi in the Western Region when an alarm was raised about a strange snake entering a moving taxi.
The snake allegedly crawled out of a saloon car and the driver of that car sped off.
Scores of onlookers who thronged the scene were stunned about the incident and many linked it to superstition.
Kwaku Owusu Peprah, Joy FM's Western Regional correspondent who spoke to some taxi drivers who witnessed the incident reports that “people…were thrown into utter shock and dismay”.
“The snake managed to crawl into the taxi and found its way into the fuel tank of the taxi cab,” he said.
