The second edition of the Blind Football tournament known as the National Goalball Championship comes off from Thursday, September 21-25 at the UCC Sports Hall in Cape Coast.

The five-day event is expected to see all the 10 regions in Ghana competing for honours.
Meanwhile, President of the Ghana Blind Sports Association, Eric Kissi believes the stage is set for another history to be made in the blind sports.
“We are ready for the tournament, which will see more spectators coming to witness the games and for the Sports Minister to promise his presence I think many sports loving fans watching the ongoing WAFU competition in Cape Coast will take advantage to also make the tournament a must watch the competition,” Kissi told Starr Sports.
Takoradi hosted the maiden edition, which was graced by the life patron of the Ghana Goalball Association Onsy Nathan Kwame Nkrumah, first son of Ghana’s late President Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
