The controversial NPP MP for Assin north in the Central region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has expressed dissatisfaction at the ruling NDC to emulate him and apologise to the NPP’s flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on Adom Fm’s Dwaso Nsem last Friday, the MP apologized to President Mills for describing him as “a jail-bound thief” during the NPP’s recently held “gargantuan rally” at the Mantse Agbonaa in Accra, in relation to the payment of GHC 52 million to businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome.
But the MP said on Monday on Dwaso Nsem that his apology has been misconstrued.
The firebrand MP said he was unhappy the ruling party turned his apology to suit them without doing same to the flagbearer of his party.
He however stood by his apology to President Mills for making uncomplimentary remarks about him to the extent of calling him “a jail-bound thief”.
