Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong popularly called KABA was at the forecourt of Joy FM Friday evening. It was his last.
He came, lying in a casket at the car park, as friends and family filed past. He could no longer enter the studio which he loved so dearly.
The man who brought joy to the faces of many brought tears this time around to all, yet he never spoke. He couldn't.
In his loud silence KABA spoke loudly of how life is so fleeting; healthy today, lifeless tomorrow!
KABA is lifeless! He gave up life on November 18, 2017 and brought untold pain to friends, family, and well-wishers. He was only 37.
He came to bid farewell to all his Multimedia family as he began a new journey of no return.
Many he shared jokes with, friends he shared plates with at Multimedia stood, and watched his remains covered in a coffin and locked in a hearse.
It was a depressing spectacle of a man once bulky, bubbly and humble. It was his farewell to The Multimedia Group. An even bigger depression awaits many, Saturday.
Tomorrow will be his farewell to all on earth as thousands will throng the forecourt of the State House in Accra for what will be a grand burial for the ace presenter of the late afternoon political show Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM.
