Host of Peace FM's morning show programme, Kokrokoo, Kwami Sefa Kayi has been adjudged the PAV Journalist of the year, 2016.
Mr Sefa Kayi was deemed by the Awards Committee to have been outstanding in the year under review. He takes home a 60,000 cedis, three bedroom house as well as an SUV.
Some four Multimedia journalists have also received awards at the ceremony held at the banquet hall of the State House in Accra.
A total of 35 journalists from television, radio, print and online media are being recognized for their hard work in producing compelling stories in 2016.

Joy News’ Latif Iddrisu has received awards for best reporter anti-narcotic. He was also awarded for his role in the anti-galamsey fight.
Seth Kwame Boateng received the best feature award, for his Left to Rot documentary, a sequel to the groundbreaking Locked and Forgotten documentary he did on the country’s prisons.

Joy Sports Benedict Owusu also picked up the award for best Sports Journalist, broadcast category, with Myjoyonline.com’s David Andoh winning the best photojournalist award.

Alice Aryittey, GHOne TV picked two awards for Best Feature, Education and Investigative Reporting.
Peter Kwao Adator, TV3- Best Health Report
Jamila Akweley Oketchire, Daily Guide- Best Sanitation and Hygiene Report.
Portia Gabor, TV3- The most promising award.
Metro TV's Good Evening Ghana won the best Talk Show TV, with Citi FM winning Best Breakfast Show in the radio category.
