Black Queens have been handed a tricky group in the preliminary stages of the 2018 WAFU Women’s Cup.
Ghana will face host Ivory Coast, Niger and Burkina Faso in Group A of the preliminary round of the competition.
The draw ceremony took place Tuesday afternoon in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
It is the maiden edition of the WAFU Women's Cup in the region and a good sign of the tremendous growth in interest of women’s football in West Africa.
The competition will be staged in Abidjan from February 10-24.
