Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng could be sold by his club AC Milan in the summer to raise funds, Gazzeta dello Sports has claimed on Wednesday.Although the paper is uncertain about the sale of the player, it does state that the club could consider such an option for a number of reasons.Boateng is one of the outfit’s most valuable assets, an attacking midfielder who has the potential to fetch around €18m on the transfer market. It may also be the time to cash in on the player who has had his physical problems during the 2011-12 campaign.Boateng, 25, has been limited to just four goals in 14 League games for the Rossoneri this term. The Gazzetta also alleges that Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is not totally happy with the player’s discipline.Real Madrid, the story continues, could be interested in the former Portsmouth man who joined the Rossoneri in 2010.
