Benin is ranked number 2 with 87%, Nigeria is number 6 scoring 81%. The president of Togo is anked 18 – 66 % and Liberia 19 – 65 %.Angolan President Dos Santos is ranked 34 with an approval rating of 16%.According to Gallup, the state of the local economy influenced the assessments of their country's leader, as well as confidence in institutions like the judiciary, and honest elections. However, political scientist and fellow of the Institute of African Studies of the University of Ghana Dr. Whyte Kpesa told Joy News the polls may not reflect the current situation. He said since the result was done in 2011 “we can only say that it is a barometer of how the nations viewed their leaders in that particular year. I think that a lot have happened in many of these countries: a lot have changed in the political and economic arena that probably could change this result if the polls were conducted today or this year.”
