Two agents of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)who were arrested in connection with disruption of the biometric registration at Kronom SDA Centre in Kumasi have been granted bail.They were arrested on suspicion of inviting unidentified people on phone to attack officials and destroyed registration equipment.Suame Police Divisional Commander, Superintendent Afriyie Sakyi, said the command granted bail pending investigation, because there is no evidence yet to incriminate them, especially when they were not directly involved in the violence.None of the alleged assailants has been apprehended yet.Joy News’ Kwabena Ampratwum visited the Kronom SDA Centre and reported that the centre has been provided with new registration officers and equipment and the exercise is going on smoothly.He reported that six registration officers who were heckled at the centre Thursday did not report to work Friday.He said the Electoral Commission has subsequently assigned new officers to continue the exercise at the centre.
