Pep Guardiola has voiced his opinion that Real Madrid are the deserved Primera Division champions, and added that Barcelona have to do something extraordinary in order to beat Los Blancos. The Catalans currently trail their eternal rivals by seven points in the Liga table, and the Barca coach feels just doing a good job is no longer enough against Madrid. "Madrid deserve to be champions because they collected so many points. We have to think about how we can improve to beat them again," Guardiola stated at a press conference. "To beat Madrid, it's not enough to be good, you have to do more than a great job. They are very strong." The Barca boss then went on to discuss the fitness of David Villa, and stressed that the attacker is on his way back. "Villa is recovering very well. He has almost no pain any longer and is getting better every day. Let's hope he can be at Euro 2012." Guardiola ended by saying that he is proud of the way Barcelona have behaved this season despite failing to win the Champions League and Primera Division titles. "Everyone wants to win, but you should know how to win and how to lose. I'm proud of how we have behaved." Barcelona resume league action on Saturday when they take on city rivals Espanyol.
