The Chairman of the Maputo review committee Nii Adote Din Barima II does not expect the Sports Ministry to defend any person found culpable after investigations into the matter.
The Sports Ministry is understood to be studying the committee findings which are already being discussed by the media.
There are concerns the Ministry may not be able to implement the recommendations of the Committee because of the alleged power and influence Worlanyo Agrah wields in the Government.
According to Nii Adote Din Barima II whose work is set to cause unrest within the National Sports Authority, the Sports Ministry must act on the recommendations of punishing the defaulters.
“It is incumbent on the Sports Ministry to let the public know the details of the report”. He told JOY Sports
“It is important that other stakeholders share the concerns of the committee and ascertain what they can also do to rectify problems of the past”.
Meanwhile, the Sports Ministry says they are still studying the findings of the Committee and will soon take a decision on the matter.
