The Executive Chairman of African Origin Travels and Sports Tourism Samson Deen has supported 2011/2012 league winners Kotoko with three thousand cedis (GHC3, 000) to defray the debt owed former Coach Hans Dieter Schmidt by the club.
The generous Samson Deen made the cash donation of three thousand cedis to the Porcupine Warriors as his contribution to the show your love campaign currently going on nationwide.
The Kumasi based club was ordered by FIFA to pay a whooping 99,000 Euros to the 64-year-old for his wrongful dismissal in 2005. Last month, Kotoko made an initial US$ 40,000 down payment to Schmidt but it is believed the club is looking for a flexible payment plan to offset the remainder.
Samson Deen now joins a list of people who responded to the show your love campaign and it is his wish for others to emulate his gesture to clear the debt in the shortest possible time owed the German trainer.
African Origin Travels and Sports Tourism are the only Authorized Ticket Reseller (ATR) for the London 2012 and have already secured visas for the multimedia sports crew ready to cover the multi sports in July.
