The ruling National Democratic Congress has been named as topping the list of political parties which used indecent and intemperate language the past week.
Out of the nine of such languages recorded, the ruling government is implicated for making five of such indecent languages.
The opposition New Patriotic Party followed closely with four.
This is part of the name and shame strategy being adopted by the media foundation for West Africa to check the use of intemperate language in the media and to create awareness for peace in the upcoming December elections.
Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation Sulley Braimah told Joy News the number of cases reported this week show a study decline in the use of indecent language.
Whilst encouraged by the decline, he said it is early days yet to make a firm conclusion.
He said political party representatives have become increasingly aware of such a strategy and are ready to be named and shamed.
Braimah named one of the editions of the Newsfile programme on Joy FM in which the panelists did not want their names to be mentioned or their political parties associated with such indecent languages.
