A Police officer in the Upper East region met his untimely death, Friday after being run over by a vehicle.
Lance Corporal Daniel Asante was riding a motorbike when a car veered of its lane to crush him head on.
Joy News Upper East correspondent Albert Sore reported the police died instantly and his body has been deposited at the Bolgatanga Regional hospital.
The driver of the vehicle is in the custody of the police to assist with investigations.
