Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party has told residents in the Upper East Region to vote out the NDC in the December elections.
According to Nana Akufo-Addo the president and his party have failed to honour the promises for which they were voted into power.
He was speaking to a crowd in Bawku Central in the Upper East Region where he has begun a 4-day tour.
The NPP challenged the NDC government and its functionaries to name just one of the promises they had delivered on for which reason they are asking to be retained in power.
“President Mills says he has done big work for Ghana so Ghanaians should allow him to go for a second term …”
“He made many promises for the Ghanaian people, I don’t know one which he has been able to keep,” he stated.
Joy News Upper East Region correspondent, Albert Sore who is on the tour with the NPP flagbearer reported Nana Addo as saying he will restore hope to those who are disillusioned by the seeming ineptitude of Mills' administration.
He said the NPP flagbearer introduced his running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as well as the Bawku Central Parliamentary candidate Adamu Dramani to the leader of the Mamprusi ethnic group Adam Khalifa chiefs.
The NPP flagbearer will visit Garu Timpane Monday.
