Supporters of the Black Stars have defied a heavy downpour as they troop to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to support the Black Stars in their World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
The downpour started around 1:00 pm and lasted a little over 20 minutes living its wake a slippery turf at the Kumasi Sports Stadium and a hazy weather which looks convenient for football.
But the fans cared less about the weather and are already turning the stadium into a jamboree.
The game kick-starts at 5:00 pm local time but with three clear hours to go, queues have begun forming at the various entry points of the stadium.
The excitement at the stadium is particularly phenomenal given that the Stars are playing on Friday, which is not only unusual but a working day.
Some of the fans told Myjoyonline.com, they can’t wait for the game to start. They are expecting massive victory for the Stars.
