Berekum Chelsea have edged out Division One side, Kyenkyenkye in the MTN FA Cup to set up a quarter-final clash with Amidaus Professionals.
Last year's semi-finalist won 7-6 on penalties after drawing goalless in regulation time on Sunday at the Dormaa Park.
Chelsea will now line up against Amidaus on Sunday in the quarter-finals at the Golden City Park as they chase their first Cup success.
According Chelsea captain Abdul Basit, winning the FA Cup will make up for their failure to defend the Premier League won last season.
“We are ready for the game and we give our all to ensure we progress to the next stage”.
“Winning the FA Cup will appease our fans since we couldn’t defend the premier league title.”
