The ban on drumming and noise making in the Ga state, will be lifted on Thursday.
In statements issued in Accra on Wednesday, the Gbese Mantse, Nii Ayi Bonte II and the accredited Wulomei of the Ga state, led by nuumo Ogbaarmey III (Sakumo Wulomo) said the ceremony would take place at the Gbese Blohum this afternoon on the theme: “Peace, Progress and Development”.
It said: “the elders wish to express their deep appreciation to the religious community and the general public for their high level of cooperation during the month-long ban.
“It is the prayer of the elders that the entire leadership of the country will live in peace.”
