The Media Foundation for West Africa has launched its first quarter report on monitoring political campaign language on radio.
The April to June edition recorded 181 indecent expressions with the ruling NDC coming tops with 89 and the NPP second with 79 expressions.
According to the report, over 70 percent of all the indecent expressions were made during political discussion programs with the most being on the internal wrangling within the NDC, governments green book, Dr Bawumia lecture on Ghana economy, Kennedy Agyepong’s utterances and the biometric registration exercises.
Ernest Owusu Bempah of the Friends for Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings topped in the first quarter, but other individuals who made five or more indecent expressions over the period include Chris Dugan, Nii Kwartey Titus Glover, David Osei, and Yaw Adomako Baafi.
Oman FM topped the list with its programs the National Agenda and Boiling Point.
Ahomka FM, Radio Justice and Lolonyo FM were however singled out for praise.
