Sky Girls’ Empowerment Initiative has celebrated its second anniversary at the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministries (CEM) in North Legon.
Teenage girls mentored by Ghana’s leading girl empowerment movement joined the group to thank God for how far He has brought them.
General Manager of SKY Girls, Kofi ocloo speaking at the event thanked God for His kind mercies.
He said the agency was elated to give girls the courage to say “no” to the choices that does not affect their lives positively.
The General Overseer of the church, Rev. Steve Mensah called on God to bless the agency and give them more strength and insight in the years ahead.
The congregants were appreciative of the movement and expressed joy in the fact that teenage girls were getting a chance to make positive choices in life.
SKY Girls Ghana, coordinate by communications agency Now Available Africa (NAA), also made a contribution of GH₵5000 to support the Day of Help event organized by the church.
In attendance were members from the Ghana Education Service, media personality Kokui Selormey, the cast from the SKY movie, SKY Girls and well-wishers.
