President John Mahama is Number One on the ballot paper, Joy News can confirm.
This was the outcome of today's balloting at the Electoral Commission to determine who is placed where on the ballot paper for the December polls.
The Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) is Number Two, NPP is Number 3, PPP is Number 4, UFP is Number 5, PNC, Number 6, CPP, Number 7 and the Independent candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah is Number 8.
This means there will be eight presidential candidates on the ballot paper for the December polls.
President Mahama is elated at the placement.
The NPP's Communication's Director, Nana Akomea says where a candidate is placed on the ballot paper is immaterial.
When the NPP won elections in 2000, the party's candidate was placed at the bottom of the ballot.
