The Volta Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kenwood Nuworsu has described the claim by the NDC to have established a University in the Volta Region as mere propaganda. He was speaking at the re-launch of the NPP's Youth Forum as part of strategies to capture power in the December polls.
Kenwood Nuworsu challenged the media to do accurate reportage, be the gatekeepers and the voice for the voiceless.
Former education Minister under the NPP administration, Elizabeth Ohene said free SHS is important in raising educational standards for development; hence the NPP's decision to give it priority adding the NPP has a better track record with education.
She accused the NDC of lying about the Establishment of a University in the Volta Region.
Member of Parliament for Manhyia, Dr. Opoku Prempeh who represented former president Kufuor as the guest speaker, said youth development is important hence the youth shouldn't allow themselves to be manipulated.
