President John Dramani Mahama has written to congratulate his counterpart, Barack Obama who was reelected as President of United States in a keenly contested elections on November 6.
Barack Obama beat his Republican rival, Mitt Romney in the race to the White House. Obama needed won 303 electoral colleges as against Romney's 206.
A statement issued by President Mahama Thursday said, "I look forward to continuing to work with you and your government, to strengthen and deepen the excellent partnership between Ghana and the United States of America over the next four years, for the realization of fruitful programmes that will inure to our mutual benefit."
