A group, “Women for Mahama” which is affiliated to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has embarked on a nationwide tour as part of efforts to ensure a comprehensive victory for the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
With barely three weeks to go for the December 7 polls, the group led by Madam Bertha Soga, Chief Executive Officer of Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) has toured some major markets in the Northern, Upper West and in the Volta regions, educating market women on proper voting procedure.
The WFM train which made a stopover in the Volta region last weekend educated some market women on how to cast their ballot without having to spoil the ballot paper.
The WFM team is basically made of dedicated women who are committed to ensuring that John Mahama wins the December 7 polls in order to implement the second phase of the Better Ghana Agenda.
