Albert Cudjoe, a 24-year-old unemployed on Monday appeared before a Sekondi District Magistrate's Court allegedly for unlawful entry and stealing chair foams and clothing materials valued at GH¢75.
He pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody to re-appear on November 12 this year.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Eben Darko, said the accused and Dominic Anderson Arthur, the complainant who is a personnel of the Community Protection Unit attached to the Sekondi Police Detachment, lived in the same house at Assimansido near Sekondi.
He said on October 1 this year, the complainant detected that 10 of his chair foams and clothing materials were missing from his room.
Chief Inspector Darko said the complainant made a report to the Police and the accused was arrested.
He said during Police investigations, the accused admitted the offence and four of the chair foams were retrieved from him.
