The National Youth Organiser of the People's National Convention, Abu Ramadan, has endorsed the NPP presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, saying he will campaign for Mr. Akufo-Addo to win the December elections.
Mr. Ramadan's daring move comes on the back of speculations that the Presidential candidate of the PNC, Hassan Ayariga himself is flirting with the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking to Joy News, Mr. Ramadan said he will not campaign for Mr. Ayariga because the candidate had failed to sell the party's ideas to the Ghanaian populace.
“I am going in the last 13 days, to campaign vigorously for our parliamentary candidates though I am not supporting my flag-bearer. As I have stated, I am not supporting him for the presidency of this country because I know he is not going to win in any case.”
He said although “I will remain a member of the PNC," he had endorsed Nana Akufo-Addo because of "his policy on free education that he is promising the people of this country."
The PNC firebrand, said he was ready to face any consequences that may result from his decision.
