President John Dramani Mahama says the praises showered on him by various chiefs in places he has visited are enough testament to the NDC's good governance over the past four years.According to John Mahama, the outstanding good works of the NDC will win them the December 7 polls though their campaign was delayed by the demise of John Mills.
Addressing various rallies at Nkawkaw, Anyinam, Osino, Abitifi and Mpraeso, as part of his campaign tour of the Eastern Region, the President said ever since he started his campaign, the various chiefs in all the communities he has visited have showered praises on the Mills-Mahama government for the massive developments they have pursued seen since they came to power. He added that the numerous developmental projects are significant evidence that his party had performed extremely well in their first term and therefore deserve another term.He called on the electorate to reject the oppositions’ claim the country was retrogressing, while urging them to vote for him since he was capable of uniting Ghanaians for development.
