Winners in the Access Bank 'Easy Access Promo' have been presented with a variety of prizes in the first mini draw of the promotion.
The 'Easy Access Promo' was outdoored in August this year alongside the Bank’s revitalized bouquet of savings and current account products that offers flexible and convenient options for both customers and non-customers to save and maintain a bank account.
Customers who deposited a minimum of GHS 200 or multiples of it into their savings or current account qualified for an electronic coupon to enter the promotion.
Presenting some of the prizes to the winners at a ceremony in Accra, Mr. Stephen Abban, Group Head of Retail Banking at Access Bank, said the promotion, which was aimed at stimulating a new savings culture in the market, was also intended to reward loyal customers, frequent depositors and new customers.
He thanked entrants for their loyalty and patronage of the Bank's products and encouraged them to continue banking with Access Bank to enjoy excellent banking services.
Mr. Abban announced that there will be a second mini-draw before the end October and the grand draw in November to reward 70 more customers and the ultimate winner.
The ultimate winner will drive home a sleek 2013 Hyundai iX35 vehicle from Auto Plaza.
James Nkrumah, Eric Owusu and Ernest Jones took home 32 inch LED TVs, whiles Yaw Brakohiapa, Saeed Omar and Collins Kwame Okai received 8.7 KVA generator sets.
The remaining winners including Neequaye Harris, Okki Lutherking, Anuj Kumar, Xiaopong Chen and Abass Abdul Majeed received smart phones while Kwaku Frimpong and Prakash Basarmakani got DVD players.
All together, 27 winners from 16 branches of the Bank received 32 inch LED TVs, 8.7 KVA Generator Sets, Samsung Galaxy S-Series phones, DVD players and assorted corporate souvenirs as prizes.
Access Bank recently won the “Top Emerging Brand” award in the banking industry by The Centre for Brand Analysis (TBCA).
The Bank was also adjudged “Best Growing Bank” for 2012 at the 12th Ghana Banking Awards held earlier this year to award best performing banks in the industry, and a member of the Ghana Club 100.
Currently, Access Bank operates in over 39 locations across Ghana. The Bank is a subsidiary of Access Bank Plc in Nigeria, ranked amongst the top 20 banks in Africa by assets and capital.
