Information reaching Adom News from Tarkwa Nsuaem in the Western Region indicates that two people have died in an accident at Wassa Kyekyewere on the Agona Nkwanta-Tarkwa road in the Western Region.
An eyewitness named Meshach who spoke on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on Thursday said the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday when a truck which was carrying some heavy duty mining equipment collided with a Hyundai mini bus.
The truck was coming from the Takoradi Harbour while the Hyundai Mini bus was heading in the opposite direction when they clashed into each other.
Meshach said the driver of the Hyundai mini bus and another passenger died instantly while several others sustained various degrees of injuries.
The body of the passenger, a woman, was badly mutilated that her parts had to be gathered into a polythene bag, an eyewitness said.
