Ghana continues to be an attractive destination for not only Foreign Direct Investments but also entrepreneurial investment.
Global Venture Capital Trust, Acumen Fund has established its West African headquarters in Ghana – providing a boost in venture capital for local Entrepreneurs.
This comes after one year of operations in the country which has seen it invest about 2.5 million dollars in the areas of Agric and Land-Titling.
Founder and CEO of Acumen Fund, Jacqueline Novogratz, speaking to Joy Business, said it was worrying and unsustainable for Ghana to import 70 per cent of its rice.
The Fund will therefore support businesses whose main focus is improving local food production
