Promise Dugbatey, popularly known as DJ Promise, has won the Gospel DJ of the Year award at the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.

The ceremony was held at the Palms Convention Centre on November 29, 2025.
DJ Promise works with Adom FM, one of the leading stations under the Multimedia Group Company Limited, and is well-loved for his gospel music selection and style on air.

His mixes, song choices, and energy have made him a favourite among listeners who crave inspiration and good music.
The award demonstrates his hard work, consistency, passion for gospel music and connection with fans beyond the radio studio.

For many listeners, colleagues and industry players, the award is a well-deserved win.
This year’s event, sponsored by Smirnoff, brought together DJs from across Ghana and beyond to celebrate their talent and contributions to music.
Other big winners on the night included DJ Sly King, who won DJ of the Year, and Joy FM’s Doreen Andoh, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her years of service in radio.

DJ Promise’s win adds to the growing list of achievements of Adom FM and the Multimedia Group, and it further strengthens his role as one of the key voices pushing gospel music in Ghana.
