Mamadou Samasa has netted a goal for the Malians after he dived to head home a cross which beat Ghana’s goalkeeper in the 22nd minute.

Mali captain Seidu Keita increased the tally to two nil in the 78th minute.

Kwadwo Asamoah’s deflection in the 82′ saw Ghana pull one back.

Sigamary Diarra killed the game for Mali in the 94′ and increased the tally to 3:1.
