Airtel Ghana has presented cash prizes totaling GHC29,000 to 15customers as part of the newly introduced daily cash prize of GHC 1,000 to two customers in the on-going 'Wo Mmere Nie' promotion.
The presentations were made at the Achimota Mall on Friday 19th May 2017.
Airtel Ghana launched ‘Wo Mmere Nie', the biggest consumer recharge promotion to reward customers anytime they recharge or top-up airtime worth GHC2 and above or purchase data bundles with amazing daily, weekly and monthly prizes.
The promotion, which was extended for an additional 30-day period across the country, will see 2 customers with the highest accumulated points daily take home GHC1,000 each, there will also be a weekly cash prize of GH¢15,000. In addition, the ultimate winners will be taking home a whopping GH¢325,000.00 cash prizes at the end of the promo.
During a brief ceremony at the Achimota Mall, Benjamin Kapuochieneh a car dealer in Accra was presented with a cash prize of GHC15, 000 for accumulating the highest points for week 14
Making the presentation, Kofi Keteku from the Airtel Marketing team said “Airtel is giving away exciting cash and instant prizes worth over GHC 1.5 million in the promo. The winners expressed their gratitude to AirtelGhana and commended the company for introducing the “Wo MmereNie” promotion which is evidently enriching the lives of Ghanaians across the country.
Revamped Daily and weekly Cash prizes
Two customers with the highest points at the end of each day will now receive a cash price of GHC 1000 each.
The customer with the highest accumulated points at the end of each week will receive a cash prize of GHC15, 000
Grand prize of GHC 150,000
At the end of the promotion, the customer with the highest accumulated points wins the ultimate cash prize of GHC 150,000.
The first and second runners-up take home a whopping GHC 100,000 and GHC 75,000 respectively.
SMS Trivia to build points faster
Customers also have the opportunity to build up points by playing the innovative SMS trivia by sending START to 477 to subscribe and answer questions.
Double points for recharges using Airtel Money
Airtel prepaid customers who recharge or purchase data bundles using Airtel Money automatically receive double points for every recharge worth GHC 2 and above.
Points accumulated weekly and monthly are automatically rolled over to the following month to give every customer an increased opportunity to win.
Customers can check their accumulated points by sending POINTS to 477.
