Ghana international Andre Ayew says the players will continue to fight for Nottingham Forest's survival following their defeat to Leeds United on Tuesday night.
The 33-year-old made his injury return in the game as Forest succumbed to a 1-2 defeat to Leeds away from home in the Premier League.
Ayew replaced Emmanuel Dennis in the game and saw 19 minutes of action, his first since suffering a knee injury during the March international break.
The defeat leaves Steve Cooper's side in 17th position, just a place above the relegation despite being on the same points as Bournemouth who are 18th.
Despite a run of eight games without a win, Ayew has promised to ensure the club returns to winning ways in the final lap of the season.
Ayew has made eight appearances since joining the club earlier this year.
