Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has implored the club’s supporters for adequate time to build a “new team”.
Ogum led Kotoko to the league title two seasons ago but it has been a jerky start to his second coming, picking up one point from a possible six.
This follows the 2-1 defeat to Gold Stars last weekend after playing out a goalless draw with Heart of Lions in their opener.
“It is a process,” Coach Ogum told the media.
“We are building a new team that can compete at any level. We need some patience and time to be able to do that.
“I know the club I’m coaching is all about results, but the results will come if we do the right things from the beginning.”
Asante Kotoko face Karela United in week three of the Ghana Premier League.
