Listed banks on the Ghana Stock Exchange have recorded their best ever profits for this year in the third quarter.
ECOBANK, StanChart, GCB, HFC and CAL Bank have all recorded some strong growth in profits, assets, loans and deposits for the third quarter compared to the same period last year.
But should shareholders of these banks be excited by these results? What about those who save or do business with these banks?
